I am finally able to tell people to look at my contract casting page! There are a few examples of my work, and I will be adding more in the near future. Below the main text is an explanation of the process and some basic ideas on cost and the FAQ's.
In the next few weeks, I will be completing more updates, and starting my christmas projects. There will be ornaments and painted christmas figures, as well as (potentially) a sale. Please check back in toward the end of the month!

Check Qpenguin on ebay for more of the bones from the vampire set. Also, more new products in the etsy store next week. Next month, my web store link will send you to my square marketplace store. It will have a large variety of jewelry and jewelry components for sale. Time for fun and learning! Heading to the artist conference today at Reaper Miniatures to see old friends, meet new friends, and learn new things about sculpting and painting! If you are local-ish to the Denton, TX area, you should swing by. Admission is free, classes are free, and they usually have some really fun activities-also free! The sculptors and painters will also be available to speak with throughout the show. It really is a great opportunity to learn and have some fun. See you there! Queen Penguin is headed to Florida this week to be a vendor at NecronomiCon! If you are attending, stop by and say hi! To those who visited me at FenCon and the Creative Women's Conference- Thanks for visiting my booth! This was a great weekend, and here's hoping this week will be even better! Later this week, I will be posting a few halloween pieces in my etsy store. I will also be adding a new life counter design to my etsy store. Keep checking in for the holidays, as there will be lots of new pieces ' ![]() The bones challenge set is finished and the gallery is updated. It has been a crazy couple of months, and if you have been one of the fans following along, I thank you. Please check out the gallery here: http://qpenguin.wix.com/bones-gallery The ebay auction, which runs for 10 days, can be found Here: Auction There are a couple of chips and dings that will be patched up over the next week, but otherwise, everything is done.
Thanks again for following along! If you are attending the Creative Women's Conference, FenCon or Necronomicon(Florida) , stop by and say Hi. So, the gallery update is still in progress. Turns out, the website editor is a bit slow to upload photos. Until I have them all posted, here are a few of the images: I'll post another update as soon as the photos are uploaded! Painting is finished, basing is finished, swearing at the minis is...well, probably going to continue through photos and gallery updates, which will be tomorrow morning. One complete Vampire set painted in (just over) two months! Not quite on target, but not far off either. I will post again tomorrow with pretty pictures, and hopefully a shiny new Ebay auction! Still working on them. Several projects were due all at once, so the bones have been a slightly lower priority. The current hope is tomorrow evening will see all of them completed. Nope. I couldn't quite make it. :( I can do it by the 21st, which is the actual two month mark. But I did not meet my own challenge. What does this mean for the minis? Well, it means that over the next few days I will spend a little extra time to improve them, do nicer bases, and add a bit of extra detail. I will also get the full gallery up to date. The auction will post in a few days as well. For those of you who stuck with me through the challenge, thank you! I appreciate the support! If you are interested in buying the completed set, check back in a couple of days from now (Thursday-ish) to see the gallery and a link to the auction. Again, thanks for following along! So close to finished, but after more washing machine drama, I'm beat. Washer is working, minis are a little farther along and basing is begun! I'm gonna sleep for a bit and get up early to get a good start. I'll post a photo or two in the morning to give you a better idea what is left. The goal is to be finished by lunchtime tomorrow. See you in the morning! |
