I am starting to wrap up a few more of the bones. I will also be updating the gallery tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning will see another dozen or so complete, and tomorrow evening should see most of the remaining pieces base coated.
Sunday will be focused on details and LOTS of basing!
I still didn't actually finish any pieces today, but I did a lot of details. The last touches and faces will happen tomorrow for this batch.
More will be painted and the gallery updated this weekend!
Still a lot to complete.
Today was a pretty decent day for painting. I got some work done on commissions, some ebay stuff done, and got a large amount of base coating done on the bones challenge. I am definitely feeling the pressure at this point!
Someone asked why I am ending on the 15th instead of the 21st, which would be two months after the start date exactly.
Honestly, I just have so many other projects coming up at the end of September and beginning if October that I need to have this done by mid month.
Once I finish painting all of the bones and do the final updates on the gallery, I will be putting the complete painted vampire set on ebay as an auction.
I had originally intended to break it up and sell the pieces gradually, over time. Recently, several people have mentioned how much they would like a painted vampire set, so I will see how it sells.
Thanks for checking in again! Nearing completion now, and getting to the exciting part!
See you tomorrow!
It is getting dangerously close to the last day and I still have over 100 minis to finish, so I am changing my approach. I have sorted the remaining minis into color groups and begun painting by color across the remaining pieces. I hope to have 30 more pieces finished with paint by tomorrow, and begin adding bases.
Thursday, I should be able to get another 30 or so if I stay focused.
It is definitely going to be close.
No pieces completed today, but made some progress. Decided to work on Orcs, skeletons, and Dark Elves.
I think I should be able to finish all of these and a couple of additional sets tomorrow, after I finish some commission and ebay pieces.
Gonna be a crazy week, indeed!
The final stretch:
I have been on the road almost nonstop for the last month and have accomplished very little in the way of painting bones.
That does not mean I am giving up! It just makes this a MUCH closer race than I originally planned.
If, by any chance, you have continued to check in and follow my practically nonexistent progress, this week will definitely be more interesting. I am planning to update every day of the final week.
They may be short updates, but keep watching! I'm still going to try to meet this challenge!
